Failed upgrades, failed posts

My tiny little computer runs on Windows 10, which is being phased out.  By some strange quirk of design, Windows 11 is too big to fit on my hard drive.

It should fit, but all the files that I'm supposed to be able to delete keep hanging around.  It's kind of crazy.

Back in the early days of computing, an operating system and core apps claimed a tiny percentage of the hard drive.  In order to fit Window 11 into this pipsqueak of a machine (which possess 143.5 times the memory of my first computer), I have to give up 28% of its memory.

Put simply, I've had to strip this thing to the bone and hook up an external hard drive to attempt the upgrade.

We've really lost our way in terms of technology.  Everything is bloated, inefficient and self-defeating.

All of which is to say, until I get this fixed, my schedule may be a bit erratic.
